In Bounty Hunter, the player in front is a marked target. The leader carries a bounty that starts at 100 points and grows by 50 for every question they stay on top. Get a question right that the leader misses, or answer correctly faster than they do, and you are in line to collect it.
If several hunters succeed, the fastest one wins the bounty. Over 15 questions, being the leader is a mixed blessing: it is the best place to be on the scoreboard, but the target on your back keeps getting bigger. It is a lively mode for groups, because the player to beat always changes.
