In Wager, you begin with 1,000 points and every one of the 10 questions is a bet. Each round shows only the category first. With that in mind, you choose how much to risk: a tenth, a quarter, half, or everything you have. Then the question appears.
Answer right and your bet is added to your score. Answer wrong and it is taken away. If you run out of points you still get a free bet of 100, so you are never stuck on the sidelines. Because every question is a decision, the best players are the ones who know their own strengths. Betting big on a category you love and small on one you dread wins this mode.
