Blackout is a trivia mode that makes life harder for whoever is winning. On every question, some of the answers are blacked out. The leader loses two answers and one other randomly chosen player loses one, so the person in front is working with half the information.
A blacked out answer can still be tapped if you dare, which matters because the answer you cannot see may be the right one. Over 15 questions, it keeps a lead from feeling too comfortable and gives everyone behind a reason to stay in the hunt. The leader needs real knowledge, not just good elimination skills, to hold on.
