Fade Out is a trivia mode where time works for you and against you. Each question starts with four options. As the clock runs down, two wrong options fade away, one at 35% of the time and another at 70%. The right option never fades, and one wrong option always stays.
A right answer pays what is still showing: 100 points with four options, 75 with three and 50 with two. So you can answer straight away for full points, or wait for an easier choice and settle for less. Over 15 questions, the best players know when to commit. HELP! is switched off, because the fading already works as a hint for those who wait.
