Closest Wins asks questions with a number for an answer: a year, a height, a count. There are no choices to tap. You type your own guess, and the points depend on how near you are. A guess that is exactly right scores 200 points, and the closest guess in the room scores 100.
There are 10 questions and you get 20 seconds to think and type for each, with HELP! switched off. It is a different kind of trivia where a clever estimate can beat an uncertain fact. If you do not know an exact year, reasoning from what you do know, like when something was invented or how old someone was, often gets you close enough to win the round.
