Ghost Race lets you play a one on one battle without waiting for anyone. The ghost replays what a real player did in a finished Classic battle: the same questions in the same order, answered at the recorded times with the recorded choices. Your job is to beat their result.
Because the ghost is a recording, there is no queue and you can play at any hour. If no recording fits, a stand-in plays the ghost, so the mode always works. Ghost Race is for fun. It is never rated and never counts for the leaderboards or records, and Rematch starts another race at once against a new ghost.
