How it works

Speed Chess borrows the chess clock. Every player starts with a bank of 60 seconds for the entire game, and your clock only runs while you are answering a question. Take 5 seconds on one question and you have 5 seconds less for the rest. When your clock hits zero, you stop answering and your score is locked in.

There are up to 25 questions, but most players will run out of time before they run out of questions. So the mode is about spending time wisely: answer quickly when you know it, and do not burn the bank on a hard question you are unlikely to get. Each right answer is worth 100 points.
