Battle Arena 2.72.0
Battle Arena is a free trivia game where you play head to head against other players, on your phone or in any browser. Pick a nickname, choose from over 60 game modes and answer over 140,000 questions, with no account needed.
Yes. Playing is free in every game mode, with no account and no payment card, and that is staying the same. A great deal of work goes on behind the scenes: writing and checking questions, building new modes, keeping the servers fast and fixing things every week. If you enjoy the arena and would like to help it keep growing, a coffee through the cup link would be warmly appreciated, and every coffee goes back into the servers and new question packs. If you would rather just play, thank you for being here all the same.
No. Choose a nickname and play. If you want your stats on another phone or computer, your player code (with an optional PIN) carries your player across.
Most battles are one on one, and many modes also run with 4, 8, 16 or 24 players. If nobody else is waiting, stand-in opponents fill the empty seats so you can start right away. You can also host a room for 2 to 24 friends and share a five letter code.
Yes. Battle Arena is built for phones and runs in any modern browser, so there is nothing to install. On a big screen, the Arena TV page shows the lobby and live battles side by side.
The site is available in English, Français, Español. Questions show in your language where a translation exists, and in English otherwise. Change language from the globe menu at the top of the page.
Over 140,000 questions in 42 categories, including history, science, geography, sports, movies, music, animals and food and drink. Category Battle lets you pick one, and some modes use special sets such as flags, emojis or number guesses.
Yes. A friends room lets a group play together with a shared code, on as many phones, tablets and computers as you like, and Team Battle and Team Relay put two teams against each other. Family and housemates on one Wi-Fi can play together and their games count.
Everyone in a battle gets the same questions at the same moment, and the server keeps the clock and checks every answer. Ratings move by where you finish. Battles against stand-in opponents move your rating half as much, and only a limited number count each day. The same two players can only count a few battles against each other per day, and two players on one device never count. Several people playing from one home Wi-Fi do count, up to a generous daily limit for each person.
